There is no other material quite like cotton. It is one of the most important natural fibers, accounting for half of all the fibers used by today’s textile industry. Cotton dresses are perhaps the lightest, most comfortable dresses to wear – and don’t forget durable! Cotton fibers have a natural twist to them that makes them very strong and suitable for spinning into yarn for fabrics. Also, cotton is very porous, so water can penetrate easily into the core of the fiber making it simple to remove dirt from cotton clothing and creases can be easily removed by ironing.
